Refund Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
The $10 founder deposit is fully refundable
The $10 deposit you pay to reserve a founder seat on the ClawVault waitlist is completely refundable any time before launch, no questions asked. You don't need to give a reason. You don't need to wait. You're not locked in.
How to request a refund
Go to the contact form on the ClawVault homepage and send a short message like "please refund my deposit, my email is X". We process refund requests within 5 business days and the money goes back to the original card you paid with. Stripe usually delivers refunds to your bank in 5-10 days after that, depending on your card issuer.
If you don't hear back within 5 business days, the contact form might have failed silently — please reach out again.
What happens at launch if you stay
When ClawVault launches and your founder invite arrives, your $10 deposit is automatically applied as account credit. You also get 3 months free on whichever plan you pick. So a Personal plan ($4.99/mo) member effectively gets 5 months of paid features for the cost of the deposit alone.
What you're paying for, exactly
The deposit reserves your spot in the founder cohort. Founder cohort members are invited to the private beta in the order they joined the waitlist. The deposit is not a payment for the ClawVault subscription itself — that starts when you accept your founder invite at launch.
What if ClawVault doesn't launch?
If for any reason we cancel the project before launch, every founder seat is automatically refunded in full to the original payment method. You don't need to do anything — we'll refund proactively and email you to confirm.
Subscription refunds (after launch)
Once ClawVault has launched and you're paying for a monthly subscription:
- You can cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal (we link to it from your Settings page). When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then stops renewing.
- We don't pro-rate mid-cycle refunds. If you cancel on day 20 of a 30-day cycle, you keep access for the remaining 10 days but we don't refund the unused portion. This is the standard SaaS practice.
- If something is broken on our end — the agent can't perform an action you're paying for, or we have downtime that affects your ability to use the service — reach out and we'll issue a partial or full refund at our discretion. We'd rather make it right than have you feel cheated.
Disputes and chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first via the contact form. We'd much rather refund you directly than have you initiate a chargeback through your bank — chargebacks are slow, painful for everyone, and cost us $15 in fees regardless of the outcome. We commit to responding to refund requests within 5 business days.
